ZEN STATE

How to be Zen when someone pisses you off

With experience we have learned that what is really important to us is our well-being and fulfillment, that of our family and friends. But in order for them to be well, we need to be a bit selfish and realize that the most important person in everyone’s life is their own self, in principle, if I’m well, it means that I can take care of their well-being.

But what do you do if everyday problems overwhelm you and affect your personal life? Specifically, we talk about misunderstandings with third parties (professional disputes, quarrels, contradictions), financial and emotional problems that take you out of your well-being.

Most of the time, the solution is simple, apply the ZEN concept. Here are some tips to help you get through difficult times in your life:

1. Think positive

Regardless of the period you are going through, you must always think that things will work out the way you want them to. With optimistic thinking you will inadvertently attract all that is good and beautiful. Dream with your eyes open to a solution in a way that is favorable to you. The transforming power of thinking will amaze you. It’s very simple: if you think that the situation it can go worse than it is, that’s what will happen. You can start by removing “I can’t” or “I don’t know” from your thinking.

2. Eliminate stress as much as possible

Try to keep a diary or at least review all the good things that happened to you that day. This way you will realize that in addition to a possible failure, you have achieved many good things. To eliminate or reduce stress considerably, you can use other methods, such as: sports, a subscription to a massage salon, aromatherapy, a hot bath, favorite music, going out with friends, etc.

3. Meditate

As Buddha said: Peace comes from within, you seek it in vain outside. Make time for your thoughts. Try to do a meditation routine, whether you decide to “talk” to yourself in the morning for coffee, during a lunch break on a park bench or in the evening before bed.

4. Relax

And rebalance yourself before you leave the office so as not to bring home all the negative energy you have charged yourself with.

5. Smile

The smile is like a windshield wiper: it doesn’t stop the rain, but it allows you to see your way. Jeanne Wasbro
