For 2022, the Pantone Institute has decided on the color Very Peri as its emblem. It is a completely new, challenging shade that will draw new strategic directions in trend and design.

For those who didn’t already know, the Pantone Institute is at the top of the list of large companies operating in the fashion design, graphic and product design industries.

Since 2000, the Institute has been unveiling its representative color annually, following secret meetings in various European capitals with experts in the field. As a curiosity, the years 2016 and 2021 were the only years in which two colors were chosen.

Very Peri, in its graphic form, makes you think of a fluffy blue, with a vivid undertone of red-purple, which can be transposed into soft and delicate shapes. Here are some ideas on how to create the perfect 2022 outfit:

1. In the cold season you can opt for a crocheted sweater made of wool or mohair in the shade Very Peri, to which you can add a pair of high-waisted, flared or boyfriend jeans.
