3 quick ideas for a chic and tasty appetizer, made from just two basic ingredients: salmon and cream cheese
Most of the time, the rush and lack of time causes us to find quick ideas for cooking, whether we are talking about a healthy snack or whether we want to impress our guests.
If you are passionate about fish and want to take your dose of Omega 3 and calcium, here are some quick ideas for dishes based on just two basic ingredients: smoked salmon and cream cheese.
- Smoked salmon mousse
Necessary ingredients:
- 100 grams smoked salmon (fillets)
- 100-150 grams of cream cheese
- A pinch ground white pepper
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- A little dill
- A loaf of bread or savory biscuits
Put the salmon in a blender and mix until finely chopped. Then add the cream cheese, lemon juice and pepper and continue to mix until you get a fine cream. Refrigerate the mixture for about an hour (until it hardens), then place the composition on slices of baguette or salted crackers. Use dill leaves for decoration.
You can easily change the quantities, but keep in mind that too much cheese used will make the salmon flavor less deep. Also, do not use salt, as smoked salmon is quite salty.
2. Spreads with smoked salmon and cream cheese
Ingredients needed:
- 100-150 grams smoked salmon fillet (one pack)
- A box of fine cream cheese
- A loaf of black bread, biscuits or savory baskets
- For decoration: green olives, lime or dill
Slice the bread stick to the desired size. You can also opt for toast. Grease each slice with cream cheese over which you add a piece of smoked salmon. Using toothpicks, place a green olive or a small slice of lime on top of the spread.
You can also reverse the ingredients. Add slices of salmon fillet to the bread, and garnish with cream cheese (using a star-shaped garnish dui). Finally add the decor.
3. Salmon rolls with cream cheese
You need:
- 100 grams of smoked salmon fillets
- 1 can of cream cheese
- White pepper to taste
- A bunch of dill
- 2-3 pieces of glue
Rub the cream cheese with the finely chopped dill and pepper and grease each stick separately. Add the salmon fillet over the cream, taking care to cover the entire surface. Roll carefully and wrap in cling film. After an hour in the fridge, cut the stuffing into slices to the desired size.
Bon appetit!
