Men’s skin care routine

Although this aspect is often neglected among men, the skin routine should be a permanent concern and just as important for the hard sex. Treating your skin superficially can cause problems later, such as:

  • Premature aging
  • Dry and dehydrated skin
  • Skin pigmentation
  • Acne and / or blackheads
  • Wrinkles and the appearance of premature aging

Here are the steps you should take to prevent such situations. We do not suggest that you spend hours in front of the mirror or go through complex procedures to look good, but only to do a routine in the following steps:

1. Skin cleansing

Choose a men’s face cleansing gel to suit your skin type, which you should use regularly both in the morning and in the evening before bed. Also, if you work hard, such as in the gym, washing with water is not enough, and it is advisable to use cleansing gel to remove impurities and dead cells.

2. Hydration

And when it comes to hydration, we don’t just mean drinking a lot of water, which we know helps your skin look toned and healthy. You only need a few seconds to apply a strong moisturizer with a formula specially designed for you.

3. Hyaluronic acid

If the first signs of wrinkles start to appear on your face, buy a quality eye contour cream, the for-men version. However, make sure that it contains hyaluronic acid, a compound that will stimulate your collagen production, leading to the reduction or even fading of fine wrinkles around the eyes.

4. After Shave

Surely you already have a favorite after-shave, which you have been using for years. However, if you notice that it no longer fits your skin very well, try a new option, which you should make sure before giving your skin the proper nourishment after shaving.

Always use care products exclusively for men, as your skin produces twice as much sebum as women. For this reason, creams and oils for your facial care have a less greasy consistency.

5. Exfoliation

Twice a week you can use a scrub to exfoliate the skin and remove dead cells or impurities. If you have oily skin, go for a salicylic acid scrub.
