Banana Bread

Banana Bread

Bananas are an important source of health and that is why we tend to buy larger quantities. But sometimes there are a few pieces of bananas left in the fruit bowl or in the fridge, which no one eats anymore, whether they are overcooked or stained.

And because food waste must be discouraged and eliminated from our lives, we come to your aid with a dessert recipe idea that you will definitely want to repeat after you try it.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 50-60 minutes

Necessary ingredients:

  • 400 grams of well ripened (peeled) bananas, about 3 bananas
  • 150 grams of brown sugar
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 300 grams of flour
  • 50 grams of nuts, peanuts, cranberries, raisins (one ingredient, optional)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 sachet baking powder
  • Vanilla
  • A pinch of salt

Preparation method:

First heat the oven to 180 degrees or medium heat. Smash the bananas, then grind the walnuts or peanuts. Separately, in a large bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt and melted butter for 2-3 minutes.

Pour the crushed bananas and walnuts over the composition of the bowl and mix until smooth. At the end we pour the flour in the rain and the baking powder.

Wallpaper a rectangular (cake) tray with baking paper, pour the composition and leave in the oven for about an hour (or until the toothpick test passes).

Trick

You can replace walnuts or cranberries with fresh fruit, about 100 grams. But be careful, in this case, add an extra tablespoon of flour!

Have fun!
